Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme – The Voice of Spotland – is back for Saturday’s Enterprise National League fixture against Altrincham.
TVOS has been overhauled for this season, but still contains many its popular features – and new ones – to keep you entertained and informed before, during and after the match!
The programme starts with a front cover image of summer signing Joe Pritchard, who has been in impressive form since arriving from Oldham Athletic.
Jimmy McNulty pens his first notes of the season, after which we have a host of features, including:
STATS OF THE DAY – the numbers that matter in the first week of the season
A REAL COUPE – supporter Dave Coupe starts a season-long odyssey reflecting on his 40 years as a fan
ON THIS DAY – previous games and Dale players connected to 16th August.
HALF-TIME QUIZ – an updated quiz page that tests your Dale and general footballing knowledge.
SCRUTATOR – the longest-serving columnist in football programmes returns with a look at the contrasting fortunes of young players the club have sold down the years.
ACROSS THE WATER – Bray-based Dale fan Brian Quigley is back with his take on general football matters.
THROUGH THE YEARS – what Dale were doing at this time 5, 10, 20, 30, 40 & 50 Years Ago.
HAT-TRICK HEROES - a new feature that looks at hat-tricks scored by Dale players.
DALE ACTION – a selection of images from the pre-season friendlies against FC United and Grimsby.
TRAVELLER’S TALES – the ever-popular write-up of watching Dale on the road, with reflections on the game at FC United.
DO YOU REMEMBER THAT - a new series that reminisces about unusual moments and incidents that often crop up in Dale-related conversations.
Visitors Altrincham get five pages of coverage, including a fantasy 5-a-side team made up of players who appeared for both clubs.
All this and much more will be in Saturday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale, priced £3.00.
